Best Practice Guidelines for Applicants

  1. Be clear and concise to help us to better understand your project/event.
  2. Show alignment with the THCF Mission.
  3. Complete ALL required sections of the application.
  4. Highlight the Originality, Quality, Creativity, and Uniqueness of your project/event.
  5. Demonstrate what you will do and how you accomplish your project/event.
  6. Show how your project/event will benefit our Region and grow your potential audience.
  7. While not required, THCF prefers grant funds to be used with local or regional vendors or service providers. Highlight your use of these services.
  8. Include budget line items and any other funding sources.
  9. Do not assume the application reviewers are familiar with your artistic product or program. Attach relevant examples of audio, video, images, or documents to help reviewers to better see/hear your work.
  10. Include links to web-based materials, such as YouTube or Spotify or applicant website (whenever possible).
